Ingredients:
- 2 Lobster Tails (about 6-8 oz/170-225g each), thawed if frozen
- 4 tablespoons (57g) Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon Paprika (optional, for colour)
- Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
- Fresh Parsley, Lemon wedges (Optional Garnish)
Instructions:
- Using kitchen shears or a sharp knife, cut the lobster shells lengthwise down the center, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pry the shell open and lift the lobster meat slightly, leaving it attached at the base of the tail. Optional: Gently lift the meat and place it on top of the shell for a presentation-friendly look.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper. Whisk to combine thoroughly.
- Brush the lobster meat generously with the butter sauce, making sure to get into all the crevices. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and firm. Visual Cue: The meat should be white and opaque, not translucent. Aim for an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a minute or two. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Serve immediately with any remaining butter sauce.
