Ingredients:

  • 225g (8 oz) Cream Cheese, softened
  • 30ml (2 tbsp) Mayonnaise
  • 240ml (1 cup) Sour Cream
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce (approximately 1/4 tsp or 1.25ml)
  • 225g (8 oz) Crab Meat (fresh, canned, or imitation crab meat, drained)
  • 225g (2 cups) Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided (reserve 1 cup/112g for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, crab meat, and 1 cup (112g) of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Using an electric mixer (or by hand), beat the ingredients until well blended and creamy. Ensure the crab meat is evenly distributed.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the baking dish from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup (112g) of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the dip.
  7. Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and the dip is heated through.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
