Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Pat the shrimp thoroughly dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until they turn opaque pink and curl into a 'C' shape.
- Reduce heat to medium. Pour in the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Toss constantly for 1-2 minutes until the sauce bubbles and thickens into a glossy, mahogany-colored glaze.
- Stir in the fresh lemon juice at the very last second, then remove from heat immediately.
