Ingredients:

  • 4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets (170g each)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (45ml)
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (45ml)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (15g)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (15g)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Additional fresh herbs (parsley or dill) for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  5. Brush the herb-lemon mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Optional - Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  8. Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices and additional herbs.
