Ingredients:
- 4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets (170g each)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (45ml)
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice (45ml)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (15g)
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (15g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Additional fresh herbs (parsley or dill) for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
- Brush the herb-lemon mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Optional - Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices and additional herbs.
