Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 medium lemon, juiced and zested
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Pat the shrimp completely dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a 12-inch stainless steel or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes without moving them until they develop a light golden crust. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until opaque.
- Reduce heat to medium. Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
- Turn off the heat immediately. Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and fresh parsley, tossing until the shrimp are coated in the glaze.
