Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill for medium-high heat.
- Trim the ends of the green beans and rinse under cold water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine green beans, olive oil, salt, and pepper; toss to coat.
- Place the green beans directly on the grill or in a grill basket; cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and tender.
- Whisk together lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and honey (if using) in a small bowl until well combined.
- Once the green beans are grilled, toss them in the lemon-garlic dressing.
- Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy!
