Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 pounds chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat them in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours for best flavor.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F/190°C).
- Remove the wings from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place wings on the grill in a single layer.
- Grill for 10-12 minutes on each side until nicely charred and cooked through, flipping once.
- Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F (75°C). If desired, brush with additional marinade during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove from the grill, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve hot.
