Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) large raw prawns (peeled and deveined)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)
- ¾ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, coriander, cayenne, sea salt, black pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice.
- Add the prawns to the marinade while ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C).
- If using skewers, thread the prawns onto the skewers.
- Place marinated prawns on the grill. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Optional: Brush lightly with remaining marinade while grilling.
- Remove from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
