Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ pounds (680g) tilapia fillets (about 4 fillets)
  • ¼ cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) dried Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) salt (or to taste)
  • ⅛ teaspoon (0.625ml) black pepper (or to taste)
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place tilapia fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each fillet with olive oil.
  4. Evenly spread the Parmesan mixture over the top of each tilapia fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the topping is golden brown and bubbly. The fish should flake easily with a fork.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
