Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds (680g) tilapia fillets (about 4 fillets)
- ¼ cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) dried Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) salt (or to taste)
- ⅛ teaspoon (0.625ml) black pepper (or to taste)
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Place tilapia fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each fillet with olive oil.
- Evenly spread the Parmesan mixture over the top of each tilapia fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the topping is golden brown and bubbly. The fish should flake easily with a fork.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
