Ingredients:
- 60g unsalted butter
- 15ml extra virgin olive oil
- 30g garlic, minced
- 1g red pepper flakes
- 5ml fresh lemon zest
- 450g imitation crab, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 15g fresh Italian parsley, finely chopped
- 5g fresh dill or chives, minced
- 15ml fresh lemon juice
- 1g salt
- 1g cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Place a large heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-low heat. Add the unsalted butter and extra virgin olive oil.
- Once the butter is foaming, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant and translucent, ensuring it does not brown.
- Increase the heat to medium. Add the imitation crab pieces to the skillet.
- Toss gently using a silicone spatula to coat the crab thoroughly in the garlic butter sauce.
- Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the crab is heated through. Stir in the fresh parsley, dill, lemon zest, and lemon juice before serving.
