Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) large prawns, shelled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons (56g) unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon (5g) red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- Rinse prawns under cold water and pat dry.
- In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat until bubbling.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Do not burn.
- Toss prawns into the skillet, stirring to coat in the garlic butter.
- Cook prawns for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque; season with salt and pepper. If using, sprinkle in red pepper flakes.
- Remove the skillet from the heat; stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
- Plate the prawns, garnish with extra parsley and lemon wedges, and enjoy immediately.
