Ingredients:

  • 1 lb frozen langostino tails, thawed and patted dry
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Thaw langostino tails fully, rinse under cold water in a colander, and blot completely dry using paper towels on a baking sheet.
  2. Lightly toss the dried langostino tails with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with 2 tbsp of butter. Once foaming, add langostinos in a single layer.
  4. Sear for 90 seconds without moving, flip, and sear for another 60 seconds. Immediately transfer to a plate.
  5. Reduce skillet heat to medium, add the remaining 2 tbsp of butter, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 60 seconds.
  6. Stir in fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley to finish the sauce, then pour over the seared langostinos.
