Ingredients:
- 1 lb frozen langostino tails, thawed and patted dry
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Thaw langostino tails fully, rinse under cold water in a colander, and blot completely dry using paper towels on a baking sheet.
- Lightly toss the dried langostino tails with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with 2 tbsp of butter. Once foaming, add langostinos in a single layer.
- Sear for 90 seconds without moving, flip, and sear for another 60 seconds. Immediately transfer to a plate.
- Reduce skillet heat to medium, add the remaining 2 tbsp of butter, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 60 seconds.
- Stir in fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley to finish the sauce, then pour over the seared langostinos.
