Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves minced fresh garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Place a large non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and melt the 4 tbsp of butter completely.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and translucent, ensuring the garlic does not brown.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and increase heat slightly to medium. Bring to a gentle simmer and let bubble softly for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Whisk in the 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese one handful at a time, stirring constantly until completely melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in the salt, pepper, and fresh parsley, then remove from heat immediately.
