Ingredients:
- 2 (4-6 ounce) tilapia fillets (115-170g each)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (55g)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 tablespoon)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (1g)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.5g)
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (0.5g)
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
- Place tilapia fillets in the baking dish. Ensure they aren't overcrowded.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the tilapia fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Check for doneness at 12 minutes – you don't want it to dry out!
- Garnish with lemon wedges (if using) and serve immediately.
