Ingredients:
- 2 lobster tails (6-8 ounces/170-225g each)
- 6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a touch of heat)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Using kitchen shears or a sharp knife, cut down the center of the top shell of each lobster tail, starting from the edge near the tail fin and stopping just before the body of the lobster.
- Gently pry open the shell and loosen the lobster meat from the shell, leaving the tail end attached.
- Lift the lobster meat out of the shell and place it on top of the shell.
- In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
- Stir in the minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet.
- Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and firm. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a minute or two.
- Brush with remaining garlic butter.
- Serve immediately.
