Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170g) Tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) Salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) Onion powder
  • 3 tbsp (42g) Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves (9g) Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp (2g) Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp (3g) Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Lay tilapia fillets on paper towels and pat both sides firmly until completely dry.
  2. Evenly dust both sides of the fillets with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. In a small skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 60 seconds until fragrant, but not browned.
  5. Remove from heat and whisk in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
  6. Arrange fillets on the baking sheet and spoon the garlic butter mixture generously over each piece.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes.
  8. Turn the broiler on for the final 60–90 seconds until the butter begins to bubble and brown.
  9. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with fresh parsley.
