Ingredients:

  • 4 (approx. 170g each) Salmon Fillets, skin on or off
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
  • 4 thin Lemon Slices (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, fresh lemon juice, chopped dill, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the coating mixture is well combined.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets thoroughly dry using paper towels. Place fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have a little space between them.
  4. Spoon the lemon-dill mixture evenly over the top (flesh side) of each salmon fillet, spreading it gently across the surface.
  5. Optionally, place one thin slice of lemon atop each fillet for presentation.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
  7. The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork, or when an instant-read thermometer registers 145°F (63°C) in the thickest part.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for 2 minutes before carefully serving immediately.
