Ingredients:
- 4 (approx. 170g each) Salmon Fillets, skin on or off
- 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
- 4 thin Lemon Slices (optional garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, fresh lemon juice, chopped dill, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the coating mixture is well combined.
- Pat the salmon fillets thoroughly dry using paper towels. Place fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they have a little space between them.
- Spoon the lemon-dill mixture evenly over the top (flesh side) of each salmon fillet, spreading it gently across the surface.
- Optionally, place one thin slice of lemon atop each fillet for presentation.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
- The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork, or when an instant-read thermometer registers 145°F (63°C) in the thickest part.
- Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for 2 minutes before carefully serving immediately.
