Ingredients:
- 4 medium russet potatoes (about 225g each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt (5g)
- Optional: Freshly cracked black pepper, herbs, or seasoning of choice
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- Prick each potato with a fork in several places to allow steam to escape. Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Wrap each seasoned potato tightly in aluminum foil.
- Place the wrapped potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking tray. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a fork easily pierces the potato's flesh.
- Remove from the oven; let them rest for a few minutes in the foil. Carefully unwrap and add your favorite toppings.
