Ingredients:
- 1 lb imitation crab meat, shredded or flaked
- 1 cup celery, finely diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 tsp celery salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Prepare the imitation crab by gently pulling chunk-style pieces into bite-sized flakes or roughly chopping flake-style meat. Place into a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, fresh dill, Old Bay seasoning, celery salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Add the diced celery, minced red onion, and chopped chives to the bowl with the crab.
- Pour the dressing over the crab mixture and toss gently with a silicone spatula until every piece is evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the dressing to set.
