Ingredients:

  • 1 lb imitation crab meat, shredded or flaked
  • 1 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp celery salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the imitation crab by gently pulling chunk-style pieces into bite-sized flakes or roughly chopping flake-style meat. Place into a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, fresh dill, Old Bay seasoning, celery salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Add the diced celery, minced red onion, and chopped chives to the bowl with the crab.
  4. Pour the dressing over the crab mixture and toss gently with a silicone spatula until every piece is evenly coated.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the dressing to set.
