Ingredients:
- 1 Everything Bagel (about 113g)
- 1 oz (28g) lox (smoked salmon)
- 1 cup (240g) plain cream cheese
- 1 medium tomato, sliced thinly (approx. 150g)
- 1 small white onion, sliced thinly (approx. 50g)
- 1/4 cup (10g) broccoli sprouts
- 1 can capers (approximately 20-30 pieces)
Instructions:
- Slice the bagel in half and toast in a toaster or oven until golden brown.
- While the bagel toasts, thinly slice the tomato and onion using a sharp knife.
- Spread cream cheese generously on both halves of the toasted bagel.
- Sprinkle 20-30 capers evenly over each cream cheese side.
- On the bottom side of the bagel, layer the lox, followed by the sliced tomato, onion, and finally top with broccoli sprouts.
- Place the top half of the bagel over the layered fillings. Gently press down to secure the ingredients and slice the sandwich in half for easier handling.
- Pair with a dill pickle on the side for a crunchy contrast.
