Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) Tilapia fillets
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 medium lemon, sliced into thin rounds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the tilapia fillets on paper towels and pat both sides firmly until completely dry. Arrange the fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Brush both sides of each fillet with olive oil to lock in moisture.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top of each fillet, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Top each fillet with a fresh lemon slice.
  6. Bake on the center rack for 10–12 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
