Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb medium-to-large shrimp (21/25 count), peeled, deveined, and tail-on
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted and divided
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of the melted butter with the minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Reserve the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter for the finishing glaze.
- Toss the Shrimp: Place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a medium bowl. Pour the garlic-butter mixture over the shrimp and toss gently to coat evenly. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake the shrimp on the middle rack for exactly 5 minutes. The shrimp should curl into a gentle 'C' shape and be opaque pink, indicating it is perfectly cooked.
- Finish and Serve: Immediately remove the pan from the oven. Drizzle the reserved 2 tablespoons of melted butter and the 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice over the hot shrimp. Toss lightly to create a glaze and serve immediately.
