Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) squid, cleaned and sliced into rings
- 8 oz (225 g) prawns, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- Rinse the squid and prawns under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels. Mince garlic and chop parsley. Zest and juice the lemon.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add squid rings to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until they begin to turn opaque.
- Add prawns. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Stir in lemon juice, zest, parsley, salt, and pepper. Combine well and cook for another minute.
- Plate immediately, garnished with lemon wedges.
