Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine crab meat, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, beaten egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Gently mix until just combined. Be careful not to break down the crab meat too much. Shape the mixture into 8 equal patties.
  3. Place the formed patties on a baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your choice of condiments.
