Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 3-4 tablespoons cold water (as needed)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and mix until evenly distributed.
- Pour in melted butter and add the egg, mixing until a dough forms.
- If the dough is too dry, add cold water a tablespoon at a time until it holds together.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
- Roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thickness on a floured surface.
- Cut out fish shapes using cookie cutters and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking rack before serving.
