Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 3-4 tablespoons cold water (as needed)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
  3. Add shredded cheddar cheese and mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour in melted butter and add the egg, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. If the dough is too dry, add cold water a tablespoon at a time until it holds together.
  6. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.
  7. Roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thickness on a floured surface.
  8. Cut out fish shapes using cookie cutters and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking rack before serving.
