Ingredients:
- 300g fresh snow peas, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 red chili, sliced (optional)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium recommended)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Wash and trim the ends of the snow peas.
- Place your wok or skillet over high heat until hot.
- Pour in the vegetable oil, swirling to coat the pan.
- Add garlic and ginger; stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the snow peas and red chili (if using); stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil (if using); mix well and cook for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat, season with black pepper, and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
