Ingredients:
- 250 grams oyster mushroom stalks
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1½ tablespoons oyster sauce
- ½ tablespoon soy sauce
- ⅓ tablespoon brown sugar
- ¼ tablespoon black pepper
- ½ tablespoon dark soy sauce
Instructions:
- Clean and drain the oyster mushroom stalks thoroughly.
- Tear or cut the stalks into your preferred size.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sesame seeds, sesame oil, oyster sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, and dark soy sauce.
- Add the mushroom stalks to the bowl and mix well, ensuring even coating. Squeeze the stalks gently to soften them.
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Spread the marinated stalks in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the dried mushroom stalks and fry until crispy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot as a snack or appetizer, or enjoy them as a vegetarian alternative.
