Ingredients:
- 2 mackerel fillets (about 150-200g each)
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp wasabi paste
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp multigrain mustard
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 small onion, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F). Place mackerel fillets on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until lightly crispy and cooked through.
- In a mixing bowl, combine wasabi paste and fish sauce. Drizzle over the baked mackerel and serve immediately.
- Heat a dash of olive oil in a frying pan, sauté onion until translucent (about 5 seconds). Off heat, stir in Worcestershire sauce, multigrain mustard, and honey. Drizzle over the mackerel before serving.
