Ingredients:
- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (or Avocado Oil)
- 1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper
Instructions:
- Thoroughly wash and completely dry the sweet potatoes. Patting them dry is crucial for achieving crispy skin.
- Using a sharp fork, pierce each potato deeply 5–6 times all over to allow steam to escape.
- Lightly brush or rub the potatoes all over with the olive oil. Sprinkle generously with sea salt and pepper, ensuring the skin is evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes, if your model requires preheating.
- Place the seasoned potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
- Carefully flip the potatoes over. Continue cooking for another 5–15 minutes, depending on size, until the skin is taut and a fork slides easily into the center.
- Remove carefully from the air fryer. Slice open immediately and fluff the inside flesh with a fork before adding your desired toppings.
