Ingredients:

  • 1 lb white fish fillets (Cod, Tilapia, or Haddock)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil spray

Instructions:

  1. Pat the fish fillets bone-dry with paper towels to ensure the breading adheres and does not steam.
  2. Season both sides of the fillets evenly with salt and black pepper.
  3. Dredge the fillets in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
  4. Dip the floured fillets into the beaten eggs.
  5. Press the fillets firmly into a mixture of Panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and paprika until fully coated.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and arrange fillets in a single layer without crowding.
  7. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  8. Flip the fillets using tongs and immediately spray the top surface with oil.
  9. Air fry for another 5–7 minutes until the edges are mahogany-colored and the fish flakes easily.
  10. Let the fish rest for 2 minutes on a wire rack before serving.
