Ingredients:
- 1 lb white fish fillets (Cod, Tilapia, or Haddock)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil spray
Instructions:
- Pat the fish fillets bone-dry with paper towels to ensure the breading adheres and does not steam.
- Season both sides of the fillets evenly with salt and black pepper.
- Dredge the fillets in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
- Dip the floured fillets into the beaten eggs.
- Press the fillets firmly into a mixture of Panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and paprika until fully coated.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and arrange fillets in a single layer without crowding.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Flip the fillets using tongs and immediately spray the top surface with oil.
- Air fry for another 5–7 minutes until the edges are mahogany-colored and the fish flakes easily.
- Let the fish rest for 2 minutes on a wire rack before serving.
