Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz (115g) smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon capers, chopped (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Crackers or baguette slices, for dipping
  • Fresh vegetable sticks (e.g., cucumber, carrots)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese.
  2. Use an electric mixer or whisk to beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the chopped smoked salmon, sour cream, and fresh lemon juice until combined.
  4. Gently stir in the dill and capers (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled with crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks.
