Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 4 oz (115g) smoked salmon, chopped
- 1/4 cup (60ml) sour cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon capers, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Crackers or baguette slices, for dipping
- Fresh vegetable sticks (e.g., cucumber, carrots)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese.
- Use an electric mixer or whisk to beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the chopped smoked salmon, sour cream, and fresh lemon juice until combined.
- Gently stir in the dill and capers (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks.
