Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8 ounces/227g) imitation crab meat, flaked or chopped
  • ½ cup (75g) yellow onion, finely diced
  • 8 ounces (227g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 ounces/397g) artichoke hearts, packed in water, drained well and chopped
  • 1 cup (237ml) mayonnaise
  • 3 ounces (85g) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the crab meat by flaking it. Dice the onion and chop the artichoke hearts.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, flaked imitation crab, diced onion, chopped artichoke hearts, garlic powder (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Give it a good mix until everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and lightly golden brown around the edges.
  6. Let the dip cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley if desired.
