Ingredients:
- 1 package (8 ounces/227g) imitation crab meat, flaked or chopped
- ½ cup (75g) yellow onion, finely diced
- 8 ounces (227g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (14 ounces/397g) artichoke hearts, packed in water, drained well and chopped
- 1 cup (237ml) mayonnaise
- 3 ounces (85g) Parmesan cheese, grated
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the crab meat by flaking it. Dice the onion and chop the artichoke hearts.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, flaked imitation crab, diced onion, chopped artichoke hearts, garlic powder (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Give it a good mix until everything is evenly distributed.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and lightly golden brown around the edges.
- Let the dip cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or a sprinkle of chopped fresh parsley if desired.
