Ingredients:

  • 1 ball Pizza Dough (store-bought or homemade) (approx. 400 g)
  • 15 ml Olive Oil (1 Tbsp)
  • 2 g Garlic Powder (1/2 tsp)
  • 225 g Full-Fat Cream Cheese, softened
  • 60 ml Sour Cream or Mayonnaise (1/4 cup)
  • 250 g Flake Crab Meat, drained well
  • 60 g Green Onions (Scallions), finely sliced
  • 1 large clove Garlic, minced (5 g)
  • 5 ml Worcestershire Sauce (1 tsp)
  • 3 ml Sesame Oil (1/2 tsp)
  • 2 g Salt (1/2 tsp)
  • 1 g White Pepper (1/4 tsp)
  • 50 g Wonton Wrappers, cut into strips and baked/fried until crispy
  • 60 ml Sweet Chili Sauce, for drizzling
  • Fresh Chives, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Stretch or roll the pizza dough to approximately 30 cm (12 inches). Brush the crust edge lightly with olive oil and sprinkle the base lightly with garlic powder.
  2. Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sour cream (or mayonnaise) until completely smooth and lump-free.
  3. Gently fold the well-drained crab meat, sliced green onions, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  4. Spread the crab rangoon mixture evenly across the prepared pizza dough, leaving a 1-2 cm border for the crust.
  5. Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (preferably on a pizza stone or preheated baking sheet). Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the topping is heated through and lightly bubbly.
  6. Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to rest for 2 minutes. Drizzle generously with sweet chili sauce and sprinkle with crispy wonton strips and fresh chives before slicing and serving.
