Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces (115g) imitation crab meat (surimi), finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (30g) finely chopped green onions (scallions)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) sweet chili sauce (optional)
  • Wonton wrappers, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped crab meat, green onions, mayonnaise, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, ginger, and pepper.
  3. Use an electric mixer (or a sturdy spoon) to thoroughly combine all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and lightly golden brown around the edges.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with sweet chili sauce, if desired.
  7. Serve hot with wonton wrappers, tortilla chips, crackers, or baguette slices.
