Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170g) tilapia fillets
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use paper towels to firmly pat every tilapia fillet dry on both sides to ensure a better crust.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over the top and sides of each fillet.
- Place the fillets on the baking sheet and top each one with a fresh lemon slice.
- Bake on the center rack for 10–12 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and let the fish rest for 2 minutes before serving.
