Ingredients:
- 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained (about 284 g total)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup (75 g) celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup (40 g) red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup (40 g) sweet pickle relish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (approximately 15 ml)
- 1/2 cup (75 g) chopped bell pepper (optional)
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- Drain the tuna and flake it into a mixing bowl using a fork.
- Finely chop celery, red onion, and any optional veggies.
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to the bowl with tuna.
- Stir in the chopped vegetables and pickle relish until fully coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust flavors as desired.
- Refrigerate for 15 minutes for flavors to meld. Serve on its own or in a sandwich.
