Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained (about 284 g total)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (40 g) red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (40 g) sweet pickle relish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (approximately 15 ml)
  • 1/2 cup (75 g) chopped bell pepper (optional)
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Drain the tuna and flake it into a mixing bowl using a fork.
  2. Finely chop celery, red onion, and any optional veggies.
  3. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to the bowl with tuna.
  4. Stir in the chopped vegetables and pickle relish until fully coated.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust flavors as desired.
  6. Refrigerate for 15 minutes for flavors to meld. Serve on its own or in a sandwich.
