Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch pie dish or oven-safe skillet.
- Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in the sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper until just combined.
- Gently fold in the flaked imitation crab meat and the sliced scallions using a spatula. Do not overmix once the crab is added.
- Transfer the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the top of the dip. Drizzle lightly with sesame oil, if using.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling enthusiastically around the edges and the cheese topping is melted and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it stand for 5 minutes to set slightly. Garnish generously with reserved fresh scallions and a light sprinkle of paprika.
- Serve immediately with baked/air-fried wonton chips or fresh vegetable sticks.
