  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch pie dish or oven-safe skillet.
  2. Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. Mix in the sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the flaked imitation crab meat and the sliced scallions using a spatula. Do not overmix once the crab is added.
  5. Transfer the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the top of the dip. Drizzle lightly with sesame oil, if using.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling enthusiastically around the edges and the cheese topping is melted and lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it stand for 5 minutes to set slightly. Garnish generously with reserved fresh scallions and a light sprinkle of paprika.
  9. Serve immediately with baked/air-fried wonton chips or fresh vegetable sticks.
