Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil (30 ml)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (15 ml)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated (5 g)
- 4 heads baby bok choy, halved lengthwise
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: toasted sesame seeds or chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Place halved bok choy in the marinade, cut-side down, and let sit for at least 5-10 minutes.
- Heat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Lightly season bok choy with salt and pepper. Place on the grill cut-side down for about 4-5 minutes, or until grill marks appear.
- Flip and grill for another 2-3 minutes until tender but still vibrant.
- Remove from the grill, optionally sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds or scallions, and enjoy!
