Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 3 6 oz tilapia fillets
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne, salt, pepper, and lime juice until a thick paste forms.
- Place tilapia fillets on a lined tray and spread the spice paste generously over the top of each fillet. Let the fish sit for 5 minutes at room temperature.
- Cook the fillets using one of three methods: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, Air Fry at 390°F (198°C) for 7-9 minutes, or Pan-Sear in melted butter for 3-4 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Immediately squeeze a fresh lime wedge over each cooked fillet and garnish with chopped parsley.
