Ingredients:
- 2 cans (10 oz / 283g) solid white albacore tuna in water, drained well
- 1/2 cup (120ml) mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup (60ml) celery, finely diced
- 2 tbsp (30ml) red onion, minced
- 2 tbsp (30ml) dill pickle relish
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Drain the canned tuna thoroughly, pressing the tuna against the strainer or the lid of the can to remove all excess water.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until the dressing is emulsified.
- Add the drained tuna, diced celery, red onion, relish, and parsley to the bowl.
- Using a fork, gently fold the ingredients together until the tuna is just coated, avoiding over-mixing to maintain the texture of the fish.
