Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (10 oz / 283g) solid white albacore tuna in water, drained well
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) celery, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) red onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) dill pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Drain the canned tuna thoroughly, pressing the tuna against the strainer or the lid of the can to remove all excess water.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until the dressing is emulsified.
  3. Add the drained tuna, diced celery, red onion, relish, and parsley to the bowl.
  4. Using a fork, gently fold the ingredients together until the tuna is just coated, avoiding over-mixing to maintain the texture of the fish.
