Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 10 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Zest and juice of one lemon
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for serving)
Instructions:
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until fully liquid.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes or until fragrant but not browned.
- Stir in paprika, cayenne pepper, Old Bay seasoning, and dried thyme. Cook for another minute to toast the spices and enhance their flavors.
- Mix in both lemon zest and juice into the saucepan. This will add brightness to your sauce.
- Taste your sauce; add salt and black pepper as needed based on your preference.
- Let your seafood boil sauce simmer on low heat for an additional five minutes to allow all flavors to meld together beautifully.
- Pour over cooked seafood such as shrimp, crab legs, clams or mussels right before serving for maximum flavor impact! You can also serve it on the side for dipping.
