Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds snow crab legs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the snow crab legs under cold water to remove any debris.
  2. Fill a large pot with water (enough to fully submerge the crab legs), add 1 tablespoon of salt, and squeeze in the juice from one lemon half. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
  3. Carefully add the crab legs to the boiling water using tongs, cover the pot, and cook for 4-6 minutes if thawed or 10-12 minutes if frozen. The crab is done when heated through and bright orange.
  4. While the crab is boiling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Remove the crab legs from the pot with tongs, drain any excess water, and place on a serving platter with lemon halves alongside. Serve with melted garlic butter for dipping.
