Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw sea moss (dried)
- 2 cups water (for soaking)
- 4 cups water (for blending)
Instructions:
- Rinse the raw sea moss under cool running water to remove any debris or salt.
- Place the rinsed sea moss in a bowl and cover it with 2 cups of fresh water. Allow it to soak for 12 to 24 hours at room temperature.
- (After soaking) Drain any excess water from the bowl and rinse the soaked sea moss under cool running water again.
- Transfer prepared sea moss gel into an airtight container and store in refrigerator for up to two to three weeks.
- Add one to two tablespoons of gel to smoothies, use as thickener in soups or sauces, or incorporate into desserts like puddings or ice creams.
