Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6oz each)
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or basil) for garnishing
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least 15-30 minutes in the fridge.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- For grilling: Remove salmon from marinade, place skin-side down on the grill, and cook for 6-8 minutes per side or until cooked through. For baking: Transfer salmon to a baking sheet, pour some marinade on top, and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Plate the salmon, drizzle with remaining marinade, and garnish with fresh herbs.
