Ingredients:
- 1 lb (454g) Ground Beef (80/20 blend)
- 1/2 lb (227g) Ground Pork (or Italian Sausage, casings removed)
- 1 cup (100g) Panko Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup (50g) Grated Parmesan Cheese, plus more for serving
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Milk (Whole or 2% are fine)
- 2 Large Eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup (5g) Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dried Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Olive Oil, for drizzling
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork (or sausage), panko breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes.
- Using your hands or a cookie scoop, form the mixture into approximately 1-inch meatballs.
- Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Lightly drizzle the meatballs with olive oil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). They should be nicely browned.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sauce, pasta, or as desired.
