Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup lump crab meat, picked over for shells
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crackers, baguette slices, or vegetable sticks for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix using a hand mixer until smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until well incorporated.
- Gently fold in lump crab meat, being careful not to break it up too much.
- Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, green onions, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Spoon the crab mixture into a greased baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until bubbling and golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving with crackers or bread.
