- 1 package (13.2 oz) of frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed (approximately 375g)
- 1 cup (150g) cooked white fish (e.g., cod or tilapia), flaked
- 1/2 cup (80g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup (60g) finely diced onion
- 1/4 cup (15g) fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flaked fish, cream cheese, onion, parsley, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
- Cut the pastry into squares (approximately 4x4 inches).
- Place a spoonful of the fish filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over to create triangles or roll them into cylindrical shapes, sealing edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg to ensure a golden finish.
- Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
