Ingredients:
- 1 lb Pacific Cod fillets
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, finely grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp green onions, thinly sliced
Instructions:
- Pat the cod fillets completely dry on all sides using paper towels.
- Lightly brush both sides of the fillets with avocado oil and season with sea salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil until the honey is fully integrated and glossy.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- Place the fillets in the basket in a single layer and air fry for 5–7 minutes.
- Open the basket and use a pastry brush to generously coat the top of each fillet with the sesame ginger glaze.
- Air fry for an additional 3–4 minutes until the glaze bubbles and turns a deep mahogany color.
- Remove the cod from the air fryer and let it rest for 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
