Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 ounce / 170g) skinless salmon filets, diced into 1-inch (2.5cm) chunks
  • Olive oil spray (or 1 tablespoon olive oil)
  • 1 tablespoon (7g) sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1g) dried cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon (3g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (1g) dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon (1g) dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon (6g) kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.5g) black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Place salmon chunks in a large bowl and lightly spritz with olive oil (or drizzle with olive oil).
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the salmon chunks, ensuring they are evenly coated. Toss gently to distribute.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if required. Check your air fryer's manual.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the salmon in the basket in a single layer, ensuring there's space between each piece for even cooking.
  6. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon is cooked through and slightly browned. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  7. Immediately serve the salmon bites with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
