Ingredients:
- 4 (6 ounce / 170g) skinless salmon filets, diced into 1-inch (2.5cm) chunks
- Olive oil spray (or 1 tablespoon olive oil)
- 1 tablespoon (7g) sweet paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon (1g) dried cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon (3g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (1g) dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon (1g) dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon (6g) kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon (0.5g) black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
- Place salmon chunks in a large bowl and lightly spritz with olive oil (or drizzle with olive oil).
- In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture over the salmon chunks, ensuring they are evenly coated. Toss gently to distribute.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if required. Check your air fryer's manual.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the salmon in the basket in a single layer, ensuring there's space between each piece for even cooking.
- Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon is cooked through and slightly browned. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Immediately serve the salmon bites with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
