Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/3 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp aggressively with paper towels to ensure they are bone-dry to the touch.
  2. Place shrimp in a mixing bowl and drizzle with avocado oil, tossing to ensure a thin, velvety coat.
  3. Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika over the oil-coated shrimp and toss again.
  4. Add the finely grated parmesan cheese and fold gently until the shrimp are evenly blanketed in the cheese crust.
  5. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket without crowding.
  6. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until shrimp are opaque and the cheese is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley before serving.
